# Directions:
01 - Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
02 - Place bread slices in the dish, overlapping them slightly.
03 - Whisk together eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, and salt until smooth.
04 - Pour the custard mixture evenly over the bread, gently pressing to allow absorption.
05 - In a small bowl, blend melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon; drizzle this over the casserole.
06 - Cover and chill for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight for optimal flavor.
07 - Set oven temperature to 350°F.
08 - Uncover and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown and just set in the center.
