# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They come together in under an hour, which means you can bake them the morning of your celebration without stress.
  • The combination of semi-sweet and white chocolate keeps things interesting, and the green sprinkles make them instantly recognizable as festive without tasting artificial.
  • Nobody expects homemade cookie bars at a party—showing up with these feels like bringing something special.
02 -
  • Do not cut these bars until they're completely cool, or they'll fall apart into delicious crumbles—which is still tasty, but not the elegant bar presentation you're going for.
  • If your kitchen is warm, stick the cooled bars in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before cutting; cold bars cut with much cleaner edges and stay intact.
03 -
  • Use parchment paper with overhang so generously that you can practically lift the entire slab out one-handed; cutting bars in the pan leads to broken edges and frustration.
  • If you can't find clover-shaped sprinkles, regular green sprinkles work just fine—the festive feeling comes from the green color, not the specific shape.
