# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They taste like your favorite bar snack but come out of the oven instead of a fryer.
  • The ranch seasoning clings to every crispy edge and makes each bite feel like a small celebration.
  • You can prep everything in one go and let the oven do the work while you clean up or relax.
02 -
  • Don't skip the oil spray or drizzle, I tried baking them dry once and they turned out tough instead of crispy.
  • Flip them gently with a spatula, not tongs, or the coating can pull off and stick to the pan.
  • Make sure the mushrooms are dry before you start coating them, any moisture will make the breading slide right off.
03 -
  • Press the panko mixture onto the mushrooms firmly so it sticks better and creates a thicker crust.
  • Use a wire rack on top of the baking sheet if you have one, it lets air circulate and makes them even crispier.
  • Double the ranch seasoning and keep the extra in a jar, it's perfect for popcorn, roasted vegetables, or scrambled eggs.
